Welcome to UK Comedy!

Added some more content (courtesy of Avataru – j33t h4><0r) to both the war propaganda and short sections. Ava provided UK comedy with a handy little error message guide for all you nerdy Unix users out there (windows 0wnz j00), which can be found here. Also added a new section on the war propaganda page that consists of some very amusing jokes, stroll over to the Words for Next Year's Dictionary to see it all.

I also uploaded a new section, which contains flash movies; I made none of them and stole them from various sources. Never mind, that’s beside the point, they’re amusing and defiantly worth the waiting time as they load.

UK Comedy is also going to receive a major overhaul soon, redesign in PHP possibly so they site is dynamic and more impressive to surfers. I’ll then add the site to a portfolio demonstrating some of my work.

Last point, I’ve found another forum, all you 1337><0r hacker types should appreciate it since it’s the Mr Fong Device, and I know how much you love Fong. The board was set up already, so I didn’t have to play around with CGI and set paths. Click here to go there!

Too many updates for one session, I need to tone it down a bit before I run out of ideas. On a completely unrelated note, I thought I might draw your attention to this page. No this isn’t me, but we seem to have a hell of a lot in common, he might be a close relative… Thanks to Pete & Alex for telling me about it, and congrats on getting back together. Uploaded some more content to the War propaganda page, so go check it out, this new stuff cracks me up, there are takes on Star wars films and The Terminator that have all been edited. Impressive stuff.

Also added a link to Global Grafx. A mates Web design and graphics company, anyone out there looking for a quality site design at a reasonable fee should check it out.

NB: - Currently I’m deciding whether or not to update the site fully, I’ve made some minor changes but that’s about it. An overhaul possibly? Colour, new layout, decent hosting? If this is going to happen, I’ll need some help, send me new content, ideas for improvements, i'm always open to suggestion. A-levels and trips to the pub mean that I wont be able to update as often, so some coding slaves and general assistants would be greatly appreciated. Post here, or send an email my way.

Right, I got sick and tired of people complaining about no new content, so I’ve now added some more, I’ve also added a forum so you can all flame/flood/spam me without email. Hope this makes you all happy!

NB: - What do you all think of the layout of the site? I’m no HTML prodigy so don’t expect miracles, I can redesign the place if its that bad, and get a friend to do some 1337 graphix.

Site updated again! W00t><0r New content added: Suspect cartoon drug users. I also added a Link to us page, filled with nice buttons and banners made for UK comedy by shn. Big thanks go out to him for all his hard work. Now all you fellow web monkeys have NO excuse not to link to us!

My laziness once again outweighs my desire to learn, thus I’ve decided to take tomorrow of school. New content added: Woman bashing jokes and British education at its finest. Check out both pages for some classic UK comedy content. All this updating better pay off, I want the hit counter to go up. At last glance it stood at 20. PATHETIC. So help me by telling all you friends about UK comedy!

Located a new server, which is a lot easier to upload to. You will see their pop-up ad banner whenever you visit the ukcomedy.8k.com link. Another mate, Snarkles helped set up the remaining links and fix and 404 errors. Big thanks go to her as well. Added the McDonnell Douglas page, This one is great.

Question for you all, what do you prefer? Banner at the top of the site on every page, or a pop-up, I prefer the pop-up, but its up to you.

NB: - I am in the process of getting some link buttons made up. So you can link to UK comedy! Also added hit counter at the bottom of the page so spread the word.

A good friend of mine helped get all the links working on the ukcomedy.vr9.com link. Big thanks go out to cy4lock for using his flash ftp programme, getting site uploading then fixing image and page links. He can be found on IRC a lot of the time. It occurred to me how male the site actually looked. I basically decided to improve it somewhat by adding links to other sites, contact details and more content. I’ve added the bumper sticker page, long and short jokes and the tech support joke page. As well as improving the look of the site (its still not 1337 yet though). This site now will serve as a base to demonstrate my humour and also show off my elite programming ability

Re: - I learned html in 5 minute, so please forgive the simple appearance of the site.

Site first gets uploaded to a web server. It contained just a few signs. No links or other information was present, and it was just meant to be a quick loading laugh of a site.

Work first began on the site after a long night of surfing the net. In my travels I came across a large number of articles, pictures, images quotes and the like, which I found to be amusing. I decided to make a really basic Html page and just post all I found in order to make other people laugh.
